Africa to be supported, from Africa to live !

Zambia faces the biggest challenge in reducing poverty and achieving sustainable economic growth for national development.
E 'is currently estimated that 64% of the Zambian people are poor, among them the 51% most disadvantaged and can not reach the minimum subsistence level. The other levels of poverty directly or indirectly promote behaviors vulnerable to HIV and AIDS among the most women.
Because of the 'insecurity' of food, many homeless people eat only one meal a day.
The availability of food in rural areas is undermined by the production of crops, on seasonal factors and access to the market.
In this context, the operative "Word Food Programme, the United Nations Organization (UNWFP), where we have the chance to" work "every morning, moving in different rural areas of Lusaka to distribute vouchers to the poor of the area and educate them through workshops, domestic economy, such as showing them how to cook food and to get the right nutrition.

The program of "food vouchers" is the first of its kind in Zambia, and is implemented for the first time as a new service available socially.
The program appears to be an innovative intervention of security, which allows beneficiaries to access food, purchased with this pre-paid cards from the same funds from the WFP, allowing movement of money, allowing the sale of products grown by the same Zambian citizens, thereby triggering a primary mechanism for the local market!

Mtendere In the area of Lusaka, every morning we will have a big white Gip and on the direction of our coordinator, Miss Brenda Hanampota, takes us in different centers operated by the Ministry of Health (Ministry of Healt). In these centers there is a small first aid infirmary where AIDS and HIV tests are administered , and spaces used in the workshops, where women, with the following values many little children, waiting for an interesting lesson in cooking begin!

E così'che chitenge between colors, the smoke from the braziers that are lit, back and forth with pots and charcoal, to cook with these women: 'Nshima, soybeans, laughed, turnip, tomato, potatos, cabbages, and various vegetables.

Among the strong odors of food you are cooking and the many smiles of women and children curious, breathe a strong sense of collaboration and community ... that we live in enchanted!

The hospital welcomes Swiss nuns dying of AIDS. The rooms, like all the rooms where the air you breathe when life and death are a step-are quiet and filled with resignation.
Every department seems to have a time different, a time now marked by the heartbeats of patients, now hastily experienced by doctors and nurses who work with dedication, even behind the scenes. But this, of course, is ancient history, because everywhere you die. Yet, you think, there is also a difference in this: not only live but also, to die.

The hospital welcomes Swiss nuns dying of AIDS. The air we breathe, the doctors also active behind the scenes, speaking silence, punctuated by the time ticks, you remember, though, the priceless value of life, because it was unique and unrepeatable experience. In the small
